The National Emergency Management Organization (NEMO), in collaboration with the Caribbean Disaster Emergency Management Agency (CDEMA), will be hosting a 5 Day National Training Workshop entitled ' Community Emergency Response Teams (CERT) Training'.

The CERT Training being held at NEMO's Secretariat Headquarters in Bisee from Monday.

CERT Training is designed to provide basic training in disaster preparedness, which increases the ability of citizens to survive until first responders or other assistance arrives.

Courses which will be covered include CERT Introduction, Fire Safety, FIrst Aid/CPR, Ligh Search and Rescue, CERT Organization and Disaster Management.
