Flood Warning for Saint Lucia Discontinued

The flood warning which was issued for Saint Lucia has been discontinued.  However, according to the 6 a.m. weather report issued by the Saint Lucia Meteorological Services, the island will continue to experience partly cloudy to cloudy skies with scattered showers this morning. However, a gradual decrease in clouds and shower activity is expected as the day progresses.

Flood Warning Issued for Saint Lucia at 2:30pm Today

Persistent heavy rainfall over Saint Lucia over the past few hours has raised the possibility of flooding and landslides in parts of the island prone to those hazards.

The Saint Lucia Meteorological Services has therefore issued a flood warning for Saint Lucia with effect from 2:30 pm today until further notice.
